Autonomous Locomotion of Tensegrity Structure on Low‐Temperature Surfaces
A low‐temperature responsive tensegrity structure (LRTS) is constructed by integrating low‐responsive temperature liquid crystal elastomer (LCE) cables, nonresponsive cables, and stiff rods. The low phase transition temperature of LCE is achieved by introducing a new liquid crystal mesogen.

Infinitesimal deformations of generalized cusp singularities
The paper is organized in three sections. In section 1 the author constructs a normal isolated singularity (V,p) having the property that \(V\setminus \{p\}\) is isomorphic to a quotient of a Siegel domain of the second kind. The author calls this singularity a ``cusp''.

Waveguide Photoactuators: Materials, Fabrication, and Applications
Waveguide photoactuators convert guided light into mechanical motion. Their tethered‐flexible design enables minimally invasive surgery and confined‐space robotics. This review aims to guide materials selection, device design, and system integration, accelerating the transition of waveguide photoactuators from laboratory prototypes to versatile ...

Signature of Saturn's auroral cusp : simultaneous Hubble Space Telescope FUV observations and upstream solar wind monitoring [PDF]
Model simulations by Bunce et al. (2005a) have shown that direct precipitation of electrons in Saturn's dayside cusp regions is not capable of producing significant FUV aurora.

A copper‐iron charge transfer instability drives concomitant electronic, magnetic, and isostructural phase transitions in ACu3Fe4O12${\rm ACu}_3{\rm Fe}_4{\rm O}_{12}$, with an inverse barocaloric effect. A minimal Landau theory ties these thermodynamic signatures together, revealing a pressure‐independent transition entropy with comparable charge and ...

Physical Origin of Temperature Induced Activation Energy Switching in Electrically Conductive Cement
The temperature‐induced Arrhenius activation energy switching phenomenon of electrical conduction in electrically conductive cement originates from structural degradation within the biphasic ionic‐electronic conduction architecture and shows percolation‐governed characteristics: pore network opening dominates the low‐percolation regime with downward ...

An immunomodulatory hydrogel (iGEL) forms spontaneously upon subcutaneous injection, acting as a tissue‐adhesive depot. It releases anti‐rejection and regenerative agents in response to inflammation, suppressing T‐cell activity, promoting vascular repair, and restoring allograft function without systemic immunosuppression.
