RNA‐binding protein RBMS1: A new target for cancer diagnosis and treatment

This schematic illustrates the diverse regulatory roles of RNA‐binding motif single‐stranded interacting protein 1 (RBMS1) across multiple human cancers. In breast cancer, RBMS1 stabilizes B4GALT1 mRNA to promote PD‐L1 glycosylation, modulating tumor immune escape and immunotherapy efficacy.

Risk factors for incomplete excision of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma: A single-center study performed on 1082 excisions in Northern Italy

Summary: Cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, which makes up for 25% of keratinocyte carcinomas, is the second most frequent skin cancer worldwide. Surgical excision via a clinical and microscopic complete resection is the treatment of choice.

One‐year follow‐up after fractionated ultra‐high‐dose‐rate FLASH radiotherapy in patient with extramammary Paget disease of the scrotum

An elderly male patient with extramammary Paget disease of the scrotum and multiple metastases was treated with fractionated FLASH‐RT (40 Gy in 5 fractions) in the scrotal lesion. Abstract Objective Ultrahigh‐dose‐rate radiotherapy (FLASH‐RT) has been shown to reduce radiation‐induced normal tissue injury in preclinical studies.
