Investigation of Cutting Edge Radius Effect in Macro-machining and Micro-machining
2016Chip formation is a dynamic process that is often nonlinear in nature. A chip may not form when the depth of cut is less than a minimum chip thickness. This paper presents an investigation of cutting edge radius effect in macro- and micro-machining of AISI D2 steel via simulation using ABAQUS software.

Development of Cutting Edge Radius Size of Solid Carbide Mills When Drag Finishing
2020The article deals with the influence of time of the drag finishing process on the size of the cutting edge radius for cutting tools. In the experiments, four-tooth cemented carbide mills with diameter of 10 mm were used that were ground on Reinecker WZS60 tool grinding machine from Ceratizit CTS20D.
