Contact Dermatitis, 1989
174 consecutive patients with suspected cutting fluid dermatitis were investigated in 2 occupational dermatology clinics. 43% showed allergic reactions which were thought to be relevant to their dermatitis. Irritant contact dermatitis occurred in 63%, but only in 21% was it thought to be the sole diagnosis.

Control of cutting fluid in metal cutting and dry cutting
2011 International Conference on Remote Sensing, Environment and Transportation Engineering, 2011A lot of cutting fluid in metal cutting process causes environmental pollution and increases the manufacturing cost. Control of cutting fluid is one of the serious problems that the modern manufacturing technology faces with. This paper describes in brief the development tendency of cutting fluid and its limitations.

Industrial Lubrication and Tribology, 1974
These authors reported work on cutting oils in our September/October 1972 issue and this paper describes a continuation of their work. The selection of special cutting fluids and lubricants can significantly affect metal cutting operations. Friction forces during metal cutting can increase the amount of work to be done to deform the material, can ...
