A Determination Method of Cutting Coefficients in Ball End Milling Forces Model
Cutting force is very important in predicting machining error, surface properties, and chatter vibration. Cutting process simulators based on cutting force models for ball end mill operations have been developed so far by a lot of researcher. This paper describes a new approach for determining cutting coefficients, which are indispensable in predicting

Karl Popper and the Mechanisms of Hydrogen Embrittlement
Representation of the beginning of loss of ductility rather than embrittlement. Small concentrations of hydrogen in a diffusible form within iron are well‐established to harm the mechanical integrity of steels. There are theories that attempt to explain the pernicious role of hydrogen.

Estimation of Cutting Force Model Coefficients with Regularized Inverse Problem
In this paper, a method for estimation of cutting force model coefficients is proposed. The method makes use of regularized total least squares to identify the cutting forces from the measured acceleration signals and the frequency response function (FRF) matrix.

Mechanistic identification of cutting force coefficients in bull-nose milling process
An improved method to determine cutting force coefficients for bull-nose cutters is proposed based on the semi-mechanistic cutting force model. Due to variations of cutting speed along the tool axis in bull-nose milling, they affect coefficients ...

A two‐dimensional multiscale finite element analysis framework was established for the first‐generation MoSiBTiC alloy, and the mechanical and fracture‐related parameters of the constituent phases were calibrated through experiments and simulations. The framework provides a basis for analyzing crack propagation behavior in its complex microstructure ...
