Development of five-axis laser cutting system for the tangent cutting solid freeform fabrication system

Proceedings of 2003 IEEE Conference on Control Applications, 2003. CCA 2003., 2004
A five-axis laser cutting system has been developed for the solid freeform fabrication system, which makes products by laser cutting, stacking, laminating, and sintering layers. The solid freeform fabrication system uses metal or ceramic powder tapes as well as polymer thin slabs.

Cut point languages of markov DTOL systems

International Journal of Computer & Information Sciences, 1981
Letp satisfy 0 ⩽p < 1, then by ℳ(p) we denote the family of Markov DTOL languages with cut pointp. In this paper we present a complete classification of the collection ℳ of such families ℳ(p), 0 ⩽p < 1, showing that ℳ forms an infinite nondense hierarchy with ℳ(0) being its only accumulation point from below. Furthermore it is proved that each language

Introduction of a cutting system for optimising the cutting of trampoline components

2019
Eurotramp-Trampoline Kurt Hack GmbH has specialised in the production of high-quality trampolines for various applications for over 50 years. International competition for sports equipment and especially trampolines is fierce, with corresponding price pressure on German manufacturers. In recent financial years, raw materials (foams, tarpaulin materials,

Impact Cutting of Soybeans Using Flexible Cutting Systems

Transactions of the ASAE, 1983
ABSTRACT SIGNIFICANTLY higher plant stem acceleration values were produced by the flexible blade cutters than by the floating cutterbar configuration. Harvest losses for the flexible blade cutters, when operated at 65 m/s were higher at all relative travel velocities than those obtained with the standard floating cutterbar configuration.

The clear cutting system

1991
Abstract Under this system successive areas are clear felled and regenerated, most frequently by artificial means but sometimes naturally. As a general rule the coupe should be completely cleared, although pre-existing poles and saplings may be left if they occur in promising groups large enough to form self-contained crops.

Cut systems in sets with similarity relations

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2010
Fuzzy sets with values in a complete lattice \(L\) can be defined either by means of membership functions, or, equivalently, by means of nested systems of \(\alpha\)-cuts. This paper is focused on finding some analogies between the second approach and some nested systems of subsets defined in sets with similarity relations.

Indexed systems of sequents and cut-elimination

Journal of Philosophical Logic, 1997
The author presents a detailed proof of cut-elimination applied to systems of indexed sequents for all propositional modal logics obtained from the smallest normal modal logic by adding the reflexivity, symmetry and transitivity axioms. Moreover, it is shown how these systems of indexed sequents can be translated into theorem-wise equivalent display ...

Bisimulation Cuts For Structuring Markov Transition Systems

Fundamenta Informaticae, 2016
In Universal Algebra the structure of congruences for algebraic systems is fairly well investigated, and the relationship to the structure of the underlying system proper is well known. We propose a first step into this direction for studying the structure of congruences for stochastic relations.

The development of rock cutting tool with a new cutting system

2001
The short life of tools employed on conventional rock cutting machines is the principal limitation on a more widespread use of these excavation machines in strong and/or abrasive rocks. This paper describes a novel rock cutting system in which the forces exerted by the rock cutting tools are much reduced.
