Cyanamide-Induced Granulocytopenia.

open access: yesInternal Medicine, 1997
We report a 64-year-old male with granulocytopenia and dermatitis due to cyanamide treatment. We administered cyanamide for alcoholism. After about one month he suffered from scaly erythema over his whole body and granulocytopenia (granulocyte; 140/microliter) with maturation arrest in bone marrow.

Prebiotic Lipidic Amphiphiles and Condensing Agents on the Early Earth

open access: yesLife, 2016
It is still uncertain how the first minimal cellular systems evolved to the complexity required for life to begin, but it is obvious that the role of amphiphilic compounds in the origin of life is one of huge relevance.

Response of Microbial Recovery Rate to Straw Return after Calcium Cyanamide Soil Disinfection

open access: yesHorticulturae, 2023
At present, returning vegetable straw in situ is an effective measure to solve environmental pollution and improve soil properties. However, the direct return of straw to the field can reduce the release rate of soil organic matter and cause serious ...

The family of amide molecules toward NGC 6334I [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Amide molecules produced in space could play a key role in the formation of biomolecules on a young planetary object. However, the formation and chemical network of amide molecules in space is not well understood. In this work, ALMA observations are used to study a number of amide(-like) molecules toward the high-mass star-forming region NGC 6334I. The

Cyanamid-Komplexe von Übergangsmetallen / Cyanamide Complexes of Transition Metals [PDF]

open access: yesZeitschrift für Naturforschung B, 1974
The preparation of the complexes (Ph3P)2(CO)IrNCNIr(CO)PPh3)2, (Ph3P)2Ir(CO)-NCNH, [AsPh4]2[Pd(NCNR)4] (R = H,Ph), (Ph3P)2Pd(NCNH)2 is described. The vibrational and 14N NMR spectra are reported. In the complexes [Ni(H2NCN)e]Br2, [Ni(H2NCN)4]Cl2, [Co(H2NCN)4]Cl2 the cyanamide ligand presumably is coordinated through the amino nitrogen atom.

Enhancing the Capacitance of Poly(Heptazine Imide) Electrodes in Aqueous Electrolytes via Hybrid Material Design

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Accepted Article.
Potassium poly(heptazine imide) (K‐PHI), an ionic carbon nitride, has gathered interest as functional material in energy conversion, in particular as photocatalyst. As a semiconductor, it lacks of electric conductivity. Paired with its low surface area, its potential is limited for electric and adsorption‐based applications.

Novel tetrazole and cyanamide derivatives as inhibitors of cyclooxygenase-2 enzyme: design, synthesis, anti-inflammatory evaluation, ulcerogenic liability and docking study

open access: yesJournal of Enzyme Inhibition and Medicinal Chemistry, 2017
Nineteen new compounds containing tetrazole and/or cyanamide moiety have been designed and synthesised. Their structures were confirmed using spectroscopic methods and elemental analyses.
