Abstract Background and Purpose Alarming trends show that vaping e‐cigarettes containing synthetic cannabinoid receptor agonists, such as JWH‐018, is increasing among youth. However, the effects of these trends are unclear in both sexes. We therefore characterized the neuropharmacological effects of adolescent JWH‐018 inhalation in male and female rats.

Determination of p-toluenesulfonic acid in n-butyl-2-cyanoacrylate monomer by liquidliquid extraction and UV detection [PDF]
A simple standard addition method was developedfor determination of the anionic inhibitor p-toluenesulfonicacid in n-butyl-2-cyanoacrylate monomer.Aqueous extraction (pH 10) of the monomer samplesdiluted in chloroform was performed, and the analytewas ...

ABSTRACT Background Central venous catheters (CVCs) are essential in pediatric hematology‐oncology, for the administration of chemotherapy and supportive therapy. Abstract This in vitro study evaluated the effect of hydroalcoholic propolis extract (HPE) as a collagen cross‐linking agent for preserving the dentin–adhesive interface. Dentin beams from human third molars were demineralized with 10% phosphoric acid and assigned to five treatments: distilled water (control), 6.5% grape seed extract (GSE), and HPE at ...

Locating nests of endangered bumble bees: Lessons from field trials in northern Germany
Tracking bumble bees to find their nests using coloured strips of paper stuck to their thorax proved to be the most suitable method, while radio transponders were too heavy. Tracking times of up to 2 h and distances of up to 800 m were achieved with strips of pink craft tissue paper.

ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the effect of adding zinc oxide and copper nanoparticles (ZnO/CuNp) into universal adhesives (UAs) on resin–dentin microtensile bond strength (μTBS), nanoleakage (NL), and presence of ZnO/Cu within the hybrid layer on caries‐affected dentin, both at baseline (T0) and after 2 years of water storage (T2).
