I recently discovered, in the Herbarium at Kew, specimens of a hybrid Cyathea plant cultivated at the Birmingham, England Botanical Gardens in 1890 and of the two plants stated to have been parents of the hybrid. The specimens were sent to Kew by W. B. Latham, who was Curator of the Birmingham Gardens from 1868 to 1903.
