Large Language Models and Agentic AI for Vulnerability Management: A Systematic Review

open access: yesExpert Systems, Volume 43, Issue 11, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Large Language Models (LLMs), pretrained language and code models and agentic artificial intelligence are increasingly being investigated across the vulnerability‐management lifecycle. However, the evidence remains fragmented across code‐level prediction, vulnerability‐intelligence enrichment, exploit‐oriented evaluation, automated repair and ...

SBOM Tooling Ecosystem: A Systematic Literature Review

open access: yesApplied Research, Volume 5, Issue 5, October 2026.
This systematic review shows that no single SBOM generation method consistently delivers accurate and complete results across software ecosystems. Hybrid, ecosystem‐aware approaches—supported by improved metadata, runtime context, and developer usability—offer the strongest direction for trustworthy software supply‐chain transparency.

FedLucra: Federated Learning With Loss‐Utility Controlled Robust Aggregation

open access: yesExpert Systems, Volume 43, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Federated learning enables collaborative model training without centralizing private data. However, conventional aggregation strategies generally determine client contributions primarily according to local data volume and do not directly consider differences in local model performance. To address this limitation, we propose FedLucra, a modular
