Prognostic impact of presentation phenotypes in early‐stage favorable Hodgkin lymphoma

open access: yesCancer, Volume 132, Issue 14, 15 July 2026.
Using 3715 patients from the German Hodgkin Study Group HD10, HD13, and HD16 trials, we identified the most common lymph node involvement patterns in early‐stage favorable Hodgkin lymphoma. These presentation phenotypes differed markedly in terms of patient age, sex distribution, and histology.

Safety and Efficacy of Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy for Ultra-Central Lung Cancer

open access: yesFrontiers in Oncology, 2022
BackgroundUltra-central lung cancer (UCLC) is difficult to achieve surgical treatment. Over the past few years, stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) or stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) obviously improved the clinical efficacy and survival of ...

Real‐time motion tracking of a gold implant in water by Cherenkov lights

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 27, Issue 7, July 2026.
Abstract Background The intra‐fraction motion of tumors during radiation therapy can be monitored using imaging systems based on X‐ray imaging (e.g., kV/MV radiography or CBCT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). However, these techniques have limitations, including additional ionizing radiation dose and the need for complex, expensive equipment ...

Radiosurgical treatment of trigeminal neuralgia using the CyberKnife system

open access: yesМедицина болю, 2020
Trigeminal neuralgia (TN) is the most common neuralgia, among others. In the Medical Center of Yuriy Spizhenko LLC from 2013 to 2020, 24 patients with TN were treated using the CyberKnife unified robotic system for radiosurgical treatment. This system is

Identification of metabolic genes for the prediction of prognosis and tumor microenvironment infiltration in early-stage non-small cell lung cancer

open access: yesOpen Life Sciences, 2022
Early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients are at substantial risk of poor prognosis. We attempted to develop a reliable metabolic gene-set-based signature that can predict prognosis accurately for early-stage patients.

Adrenocortical Carcinoma Treated by CyberKnife

open access: yesInternal Medicine, 2016
Adrenocortical carcinoma is a rare malignancy with a poor prognosis. The effective treatment for advanced cancer remains unknown. A 61-year-old woman underwent CyberKnife treatment on a large adrenocortical carcinoma and tumor emboli in both pulmonary arteries.

Oxaliplatin‐induced neuropathy after total neoadjuvant therapy for rectal cancer: Dose–response relationship and impact on quality of life

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 159, Issue 1, Page 198-209, 1 July 2026.
What's New? Oxaliplatin serves a key role in the treatment of rectal cancer, though it is a significant cause of chemotherapy‐induced peripheral neuropathy. As total neoadjuvant therapy, in which all therapy is given before surgery, has become more common, understanding neuropathy has grown increasingly important. This study examined neuropathy and its

Diabetes Is an Independent Risk Factor for Radiation‐Induced Hematuria After Robotic Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy for Prostate Cancer

open access: yesInternational Journal of Urology, Volume 33, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Objectives To evaluate the incidence, timing, and clinical predictors of radiation‐induced hematuria following robotic stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for localized prostate cancer. Methods This retrospective single‐center cohort study included 397 patients treated with robotic SBRT between 2013 and 2019 for localized prostate ...
