Cytogenetic Effects of Cyclamates

open access: yes, 1984
PHA-stimulated human peripheral lymphocytes were used as a model system for assessing the in vitro effects of calcium cyclamate. Techniques of autoradiography, cytological staining, cell counting, liquid scintillation and karyotyping were used to study the cytogenetic damage and biochemical effects of calcium cyclamate when assayed in 24 hour intervals

The determination of cyclohexylamine in cyclamates

Analyst, The, 1969
Cyclohexylamine in cyclamates is determined by extraction with chloroform and formation of a complex with 1-chloro-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene, which is measured absorptiometrically. Amounts of cyclohexylamine as low as 10 p.p.m. can be determined.

Apparent specific volumes and tastes of cyclamates, other sulfamates, saccharins and acesulfame sweeteners

open access: yesFood Chemistry, 2004
Measurements of apparent specific volume (ASV) for a series of alternative sweeteners (cyclamates, sulfamates, saccharins, acesulfames and anilinomethanesulfonates) have been made.
