Advancing Real-Time Sensor-Based Quality Monitoring in Construction and Demolition Waste Processing for the Prediction of Weight-Based Particle Size Distributions

open access: yesRecycling
In this work, the development and validation of an AI- and sensor-based inline quality monitoring system for the analysis of particle size distributions (PSDs) of comminuted construction and demolition waste (CDW) material flows are described. In this, a

Global ocean colour trends in biogeochemical provinces

open access: yesFrontiers in Marine Science, 2023
Satellite-derived ocean colour data provide continuous, daily measurements of global waters and are an essential tool for monitoring these waters in a changing climate.

Extending Cycles Locally to Hamilton Cycles [PDF]

open access: yesThe Electronic Journal of Combinatorics, 2016
A Hamilton circle in an infinite graph is a homeomorphic copy of the  unit circle $S^1$ that contains all vertices and all ends precisely once. We prove that every connected, locally connected, locally finite, claw-free graph has such a Hamilton circle, extending a result of Oberly and Sumner to infinite graphs.

Analysis of Business Cycles in the Breeding of Pigs, Cattle and Poultry and their Relationship to the Causality of Wheat and Rye Cultivation in Poland

open access: yesZeszyty Naukowe Szkoły Głównej Gospodarstwa Wiejskiego w Warszawie. Problemy Rolnictwa Światowego, 2018
The article presents a study on the phenomenon of pig gaps in the perspective of pig, cattle, and poultry farming in Poland. The work attempts to define the phenomenon itself as well as to show the reasons for its occurrence and significance for the ...

Current State of the Art and Potential for Construction and Demolition Waste Processing: A Scoping Review of Sensor-Based Quality Monitoring and Control for In- and Online Implementation in Production Processes

open access: yesSensors
Automated quality assurance is gaining popularity across application areas; however, automatization for monitoring and control of product quality in waste processing is still in its infancy. At the same time, research on this topic is scattered, limiting

On the n-Partite Tournaments with Exactly n − m + 1 Cycles of Length m

open access: yesDiscussiones Mathematicae Graph Theory, 2021
Gutin and Rafiey [Multipartite tournaments with small number of cycles, Australas J. Combin. 34 (2006) 17–21] raised the following two problems: (1) Let m ∈ {3, 4, . . ., n}.

Genomic Diversity and Clinical Variability in Pediatric Primary Cutaneous Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma: A Case Series

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma (pcALCL) is a rare pediatric CD30‐positive T‐cell lymphoproliferative disorder with an excellent prognosis, but its genomic drivers are poorly defined. We report three children with skin‐limited disease demonstrating striking molecular heterogeneity, including NPM::ALK, NUP214::FRK, and a novel ...

On Edge Irregular Reflexive Labellings for the Generalized Friendship Graphs

open access: yesMathematics, 2017
We study an edge irregular reflexive k-labelling for the generalized friendship graphs, also known as flowers (a symmetric collection of cycles meeting at a common vertex), and determine the exact value of the reflexive edge strength for several ...

Guidelines for Pediatric Radiotherapy Simulation: A Report From the Children's Oncology Group Radiation Oncology Discipline

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric radiation therapy presents unique challenges compared to adult treatments, including those of immobilization, potential need for sedation, and the critical importance of accurate, reproducible positioning. Additionally, heightened attention to imaging doses is necessary to minimize long‐term toxicity in survivors.
