Degradation of Environmental Protection Coatings for Gas Turbine Materials [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Nowadays, problems of component materials reliability in gas and oil-fired gas turbines focus on assessing the potential behaviour of commonly employed coatings, in order to avoid expensive and unpredictable failure in service and producing new materials

Uptake and Degradation of Cyclic AMP by Chloronema Cells [PDF]

open access: yesPlant Physiology, 1982
Suspension cultures of intact chloronema cells of the moss Funaria hygrometrica take up [(3)H]cAMP and degrade it rapidly. The increase in total radioactivity accumulated by the cells was linear up to 30 minutes. Initially, the major degradation products were 5'-AMP and adenosine, but later predominantly ADP and ATP.

A cyclic peptide-based PROTAC induces intracellular degradation of palmitoyltransferase and potently decreases PD-L1 expression in human cervical cancer cells

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2023
IntroductionOur previous research has found that degradation of palmitoyltransferase in tumor cells using a linear peptide PROTAC leads to a significant decrease in PD-L1 expression in tumors.

Degradation of dioxins by cyclic ether degrading fungus,Cordyceps sinensis [PDF]

open access: yesFEMS Microbiology Letters, 2005
Use of the cyclic ether degrading fungus, Cordyceps sinensis strain A to degrade dibenzo-p-dioxin (DD), 2,3,7-trichlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (2,3,7-triCDD) and octachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (octaCDD) has revealed a new degradation pathway for dioxins. Catechols and other possible degradation products were synthesized to facilitate the identification, detection

Thermal characterisation of XB2-CA4 : cyclic poly(butylene terephthalate) with stannoxane catalyst [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The following investigation presents the melting, polymerisation and crystallisation kinetics of XB2-CA4, an oligomer powder of cyclic butylene terephthalate with a stannoxane catalyst, which polymerises into cyclic poly(butylene terephthalate) (cPBT ...

Regulation of cyclic lipopeptide biosynthesis in Pseudomonas fluorescens by the ClpP protease [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Cyclic lipopeptides produced by Pseudomonas species exhibit potent surfactant and broad-spectrum antibiotic properties. Their biosynthesis is governed by large multimodular nonribosomal peptide synthetases, but little is known about the genetic ...

The Formation of the Cyclic Oligomers by the Degradation of Polyethyleneterephthalate

open access: yesKobunshi Kagaku, 1967

Sonochemical degradation of cyclic nitroxides in aqueous solution

open access: yesUltrasonics Sonochemistry, 2012
The sonochemical degradation of eight five- and six-membered nitroxides has been studied by EPR spectroscopy after exposure to ultrasound at a frequency of 354 kHz in argon-saturated aqueous solution. Concentration vs. time profiles do not follow a simple rate law.
