Enzymes from the phosphodiesterase type 4 family (PDE4) coordinate physiological events driven by the cyclic AMP s(cAMP) signaling pathway by tightly controlling cAMP dynamics in many cell types. Key to this strict regulation is the myriad of posttranslational modifications that alter PDE4 activity, cellular location, and binding partner selection ...

Gasdermins: multifunctional effectors of membrane permeabilization across cellular compartments
Gasdermins (GSDMs) are pore‐forming proteins best known for driving pyroptosis through plasma membrane (PM) permeabilization. Beyond triggering inflammatory cell death, GSDMs can also associate with organelle membranes, including mitochondria, lysosomes, ER, and nucleus, where they modulate membrane integrity and cellular signaling.

ABSTRACT Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) exert their effects primarily through paracrine signaling via soluble factors and extracellular vesicles (EVs), especially exosomes. These acellular components offer regenerative and immunomodulatory benefits with fewer safety and logistical constraints than cell‐based therapies.

Competitive Entry in the Market for Branded Generic Drugs
ABSTRACT I analyze the determinants of lead time (the time lag between the first‐mover's product release and the competitor's market entry) and its consequences for product prices, competition, and consumers. I investigate the case for the Indian branded generic pharmaceutical sector where substantial variation in lead time is observed.

Abstract The evolving global landscape of packaging regulations, driven by heightened public concern over single‐use packaging and plastic waste, signals a significant shift toward circular economy principles. These regulatory changes, including the United Nations Environmental Programme's endorsement of a legally binding international agreement on ...

ABSTRACT Aim To assess the validity of a modified Neonatal Skin Risk Assessment scale (Dev‐NSARS) for neonatal pressure injuries (PIs) in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and neonatal sub‐intensive care unit (NICU‐Sub) environment. Background Medical devices are the leading cause of pressure injuries (PIs) in neonates, a key cause of morbidity ...

ABSTRACT Cannabinoids, particularly Δ9‐tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD), have gained popularity as alternative sleep aids; however, their effects on sleep architecture and next‐day function remain poorly understood. Here, in a pilot trial, we examined the effects of a single oral dose containing 10 mg THC and 200 mg CBD (THC/CBD) on ...
