AbstractLet $X=GC$ be a group, where C is a cyclic group and G is either a generalized quaternion group or a dihedral group such that $C\cap G=1$ . In this paper, X is characterized and, moreover, a complete classification for $X$ is given, provided that G is a generalized quaternion group and C is core-free.

The Segal Conjecture for Cyclic Groups [PDF]
where /4(G) denotes the completion of the Burnside ring of G with respect to the ideal of virtual G-sets of degree 0. The conjecture was proved for G = Z/(2) by W. H. Lin [5], [3] and for G = Z/(p), where p is an odd prime, by J. H. C. Gunawardena [4]. In this note we outline a proof for G cyclic.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
