Cyclic Temperature stress testing of pharmaceuticals
Drug Development and Industrial Pharmacy, 1992AbstractIn a previous communication the present authors have commented on some aspects of stability testing (1). The objective of the present brief paper is to comment on the design and application of cyclic temperature stress testing for pharmaceuticals. We believe it to be timely to offer such comments now because of the present increased interest in

Effective stresses in cyclic deformation
Scripta Metallurgica, 1979Abstract Stress relaxation measurements showed that the relative magnitude of the effective stresses increases with cycling. For the explanation of these results, the mechanism associated with edge dislocation exhaustion and increasing screw dislocation activity is suggested. Stress relaxation measurements around various points of the hysteresis loop

Cyclic stress–strain response of compacted gravel
Géotechnique, 2011The positive effect of artificial densification on the stress–strain performance of granular materials is acknowledged from very ancient times but its importance greatly increased after the development of powerful machineries for the construction of large earth and rockfill dams.

Cyclic stress tests for full scan circuits
Proceedings 13th IEEE VLSI Test Symposium, 1995To ensure the production of reliable circuits and fully testable unpackaged dies for MCMs burn-in, both dynamic and monitored, remains a feasible option. During this burn-in process the circuit needs to be stressed for an extended period of time. This requires computation of cyclic input sequences to stress the circuit.

Convergent internal stresses and steady cyclic states of stress
Journal of Strain Analysis, 1966It is proved that if two structures differing only in their initial internal stresses are subject to the same loading history, the distributions of internal stress will approach one another in regions of creep and plasticity as the loading proceeds. This theorem is used to prove the existence and uniqueness of steady cyclic states of stress.

Psychological stress increases pituitary cyclic AMP
Pharmacology Biochemistry and Behavior, 1988Exposure to physical stressors has been shown to produce increases in pituitary cyclic AMP in laboratory rats. In this experiment, the generality of these findings has been extended to include a psychological stressor, defined as returning the animals to a situation in which they had been exposed to footshock for four days.

Cyclic Stress in Polycrystalline Copper
1987The dynamics of the cyclic plastic straining in polycrystalline copper was studied using a computer controlled servohydraulic test system. The experiments including strain rate changes, stress relaxation, stress dip and the analysis of hysteresis loop were done at different strain rates.

Cyclic stress analysis of flexor tendon repair
The Journal of Hand Surgery, 1991A method of evaluating flexor tendon repair techniques with the use of cyclic testing is presented. This type of evaluation complements the presently used load-to-failure tests by providing more detailed information about gap formation at the repair site.

CYCLIC LOADING OF THERMAL STRESSES
Journal of Thermal Stresses, 2001The isotropic and kinematic hardening theories of plasticity are used to evaluate the cyclic loading behavior of structures under thermal stresses. The material of the structures used in this article is assumed to follow nonlinear strain hardening property. The material's strain hardening curve in tension and compression is assumed to be both identical

Components in engineering applications operating under cyclic loads, commonly known as fatigue, may become unstable and cause catastrophic failure to occur unexpectedly because of structural instability. It is generally thought that over 80 % of all service failures are associated with fatigue. Therefore, operation of machines or their components under
