CYCLICAL LIFE TESTS WITH GAMMA DISTRIBUTION AS THE TEST MODEL

A cyclical life test based on gamma model with k cycles each with p phases is studied. Average life is taken as the same for all cycles in each phase while different phases have different average life. Using the Bayesian approach estimates of the average lives are obtained. As a special case the exponential model is considered.
