Stability of Graph Pairs Involving Cycles
A graph pair $(Γ, Σ)$ is called stable if $\aut(Γ)\times\aut(Σ)$ is isomorphic to $\aut(Γ\timesΣ)$ and unstable otherwise, where $Γ\timesΣ$ is the direct product of $Γ$ and $Σ$. A graph is called $R$-thin if distinct vertices have different neighbourhoods.

High‐Nickel Heterostructured Cathodes with Local Stoichiometry Control for High‐Voltage Operation
The growing demand for lithium‐ion batteries to power electric vehicles and other energy‐dense devices continues to fuel the need for cathodes of increasingly higher nickel in cathodes.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Global stability of a class of futile cycles [PDF]
Abstract In this paper, we prove the global asymptotic stability of a class of mass action futile cycle networks which includes a model of processive multisite phosphorylation networks. The proof consists of two parts. In the first part, we prove that there is a unique equilibrium in every positive compatibility class.

New Limits for Stability of Supercapacitor Electrode Material Based on Graphene Derivative
Supercapacitors offer a promising alternative to batteries, especially due to their excellent power density and fast charging rate capability. However, the cycling stability and material synthesis reproducibility need to be significantly improved to ...

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Eductive Stability in Real Business Cycle Models [PDF]
We reexamine issues of coordination in the standard RBC model. Is the unique rational expectations equilibrium attainable by rational agents who contemplate the possibility of small deviations from equilibrium? Surprisingly, we …nd that coordination cannot be expected.
