Cycloplegic Provocative Testing

The effect of cycloplegia on intraocular pressure was studied in a series of angle-closure glaucoma patients who had undergone peripheral iridectomies. Twenty percent of these patients had intraocular pressure elevations of at least 6 mm Hg though the angles remained unequivocally open.
