Wall‐crossing for quasimaps to GIT stack bundles

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 111, Issue 6, June 2025.
Abstract We define the notion of ε$\epsilon$‐stable quasimaps to a GIT stack bundle, and study the wall‐crossing behavior of the resulting ε$\epsilon$‐quasimap theory as ε$\epsilon$ varies.

Asymptotic estimates of large gaps between directions in certain planar quasicrystals

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 111, Issue 6, June 2025.
Abstract For quasicrystals of cut‐and‐project type in Rd$\mathbb {R}^d$, it was proved by Marklof and Strömbergsson [Int. Math. Res. Not. IMRN (2015), no. 15, 6588–6617; erratum, ibid. 2020] that the limit local statistical properties of the directions to the points in the set are described by certain SLd(R)$\operatorname{SL}_d(\mathbb {R})$‐invariant ...

On profinite rigidity amongst free‐by‐cyclic groups I: The generic case

open access: yesProceedings of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 130, Issue 6, June 2025.
Abstract We prove that amongst the class of free‐by‐cyclic groups, Gromov hyperbolicity is an invariant of the profinite completion. We show that whenever G$G$ is a free‐by‐cyclic group with first Betti number equal to one, and H$H$ is a free‐by‐cyclic group which is profinitely isomorphic to G$G$, the ranks of the fibres and the characteristic ...

Feasibility of primality in bounded arithmetic

open access: yesForum of Mathematics, Sigma
We prove the correctness of the AKS algorithm [1] within the bounded arithmetic theory $T^{\text {count}}_2$ or, equivalently, the first-order consequences of the theory $\text {VTC}^0$ expanded by the smash function, which we denote by

Fast AVX-512 Implementation of the Optimal Ate Pairing on BLS12-381

open access: yesTransactions on Cryptographic Hardware and Embedded Systems
Non-degenerate bilinear maps on elliptic curves, commonly referred to as pairings, have many applications including short signature schemes, zero-knowledge proofs and remote attestation protocols.

Realizability of Representations in Cyclotomic Fields [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1973
In this paper sufficient conditions are given for a real valued complex irreducible character χ \chi to be written in Q ( χ ) ( ε q ) , ε q Q(\chi )({\varepsilon _q ...
