Electron cyclotron heating as inverse cyclotron radiation
The Physics of Fluids, 1973Microwave heating of a plasma is developed as an inverse emission process. Heating rates based on this theory show close agreement with those based on particle motion or conductivity. Thus, well-known emission theories provide a basis for determining heating rates.
