Abstract Background and Purpose Noise pollution, particularly by aircraft, is a significant risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Aircraft noise activates stress response pathways in the brain, via the amygdala, the sympathetic nervous system and the hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal axis.

Abstract Using Van Allen Probes data (2013–2015), we report that highly oblique chorus waves frequently occur in low‐density regions where fpe/fce≈3 ${f}_{\text{pe}}/{f}_{\text{ce}}\approx 3$. These waves exhibit an electric‐to‐magnetic energy ratio PE/c2PB>0.5 $\sqrt{{P}_{\mathrm{E}}/{c}^{2}{P}_{\mathrm{B}}} > 0.5$, much higher than the typical <0.1 ${

The Turbulence Properties of 150‐km Echoes in the Lower Ionosphere
Abstract The valley region ionosphere spans from approximately 120–200 km in altitude, and hosts a wide range of plasma, neutral, and solar interactions that create and maintain the ionosphere. In this region a ubiquitous and mysterious source of radar echoes called “150‐km echoes” has been observed since the 1960s.

Bounce Resonance Between ULF Waves and Electrons in the Dayside Outer Magnetosphere
Abstract Resonant interactions between ultra‐low‐frequency (ULF) waves and particles are critical for energy transfer in the Earth's magnetosphere, and have been extensively investigated in the inner magnetosphere. However, resonant processes between ULF waves and electrons in the dayside outer magnetosphere remain largely unexplored.

155Tb production by cyclotrons: what level of 155Gd enrichment allows clinical applications?
Background 155Tb represents a potentially useful radionuclide for diagnostic medical applications, but its production remains a challenging problem, in spite of the fact that many production routes have been already investigated and tested.
