Suzbijanje jabukovog savijača feromonima, metodom konfuzije je nov, ekološki prihvatljiviji pristup suzbijanju tog za naše prilike, ali i za prilike mnogih drugih zemalja ključnog štetočinca jabuke. Sintetizirani feromon ženke jabukovog savijača jednako privlači mužjake kao i prirodni feromon.
