A Parallel Miniature Cylindrical Ion Trap Array
Analytical Chemistry, 2000A small mass spectrometer array is described in which each element is a cylindrical ion trap (CIT). The array contains four CITs, each having an inner radius of 2.5 mm, arranged in parallel and operated using a single electronics system under common conditions for trapping and mass analysis.

Printed antenna arrays with cylindrical parabolic reflector
2012 20th Telecommunications Forum (TELFOR), 2012Concept of design and realization of high gain printed antenna structures is presented. They consist of antenna array, subreflector, feeding network and bal-un, all printed on the same dielectric substrate. Linear array is positioned on the axis focus of the cylindrical parabolic reflector.

Periodic Arrays of Interfacial Cylindrical Reverse Micelles
Langmuir, 2005We report an approach for the fabrication of periodic molecular nanostructures on surfaces. The approach involves biomimetic self-organization of synthetic wedge-shaped amphiphilic molecules into multilayer arrays of cylindrical reverse micelles. The films were characterized by atomic force microscopy and X-ray reflectivity.

A Flush-Mounted Quasi-Full-Space Beam-Scanning Cylindrical Phased Array
IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2019A cylindrical phased array (CPA) for quasi-full-space wide-angle scanning is presented. The quasi-full-space scanning is achieved by combining a pattern reconfigurable technique with a subarray scanning method.

Cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna arrays
11th International Conference on Antennas and Propagation (ICAP 2001), 2001In this paper, the study of dielectric resonator antenna arrays is reported. The results of two- and four-element linear arrays in two configurations and a four-element planar array are presented. It is shown that different configurations can be used to form cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna broadside arrays.

Acoustic radiation from cylindrical transducer arrays
Journal of Sound and Vibration, 2009A method is presented to determine the omni-directional and directional far-field pressures radiated by cylindrical transducer arrays in an infinite rigid cylindrical baffle. The solution to the Helmholtz equation and the displacement continuity condition at the interface between the array and the surrounding water are used to determine the pressure ...

Cylindrical arrays with electronic beam scanning
Proceedings of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, 1965This paper describes methods for enabling the directional pattern of a cylindrical array to scan continuously and repetitively through 360° by electronic means. This requires that the circular aperture distribution corresponding to the far-field directional pattern should be subjected to rotation relative to the fixed array.

Modeling of small-size cylindrical arrays
17th International Conference on Applied Electromagnetics and Communications, 2003. ICECom 2003., 2004The possibility for modeling and analysis of small-size cylindrical arrays with Ansoft/sup /spl reg// 3D EM simulation software (HFSS) is presented. The antenna consists of 160 microstrip patches mounted over a cylindrical body with radius 9.1 cm. The radiators are spaced in Cartesian grid and cover the arc of 123/spl deg/.

Compressive beamforming on a cylindrical array
Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2016Previously, we presented subarray compressive beamforming for Doppler sensitive midfrequency active sonar on a cylindrical array, focusing on practical application for mitigating Doppler spreading caused by sidelobes and the width of the main lobe [J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 139, 2050 (2016)].
