A Piezo‐Mimetic Ionic Hydrogel Harnessing Joint Motion for Cartilage Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A piezo‐mimetic ionic hydrogel converts mechanical deformation into bioactive ionic currents via stress‐induced asymmetric ion migration. Coupled with sustained Mg2+ release, this mechano‐electrochemical platform bridges mechanical loading and cellular signaling, enabling load‐adaptive stimulation and enhanced cartilage regeneration. ABSTRACT Articular

THEORETICAL SOLUTION AND ITS CORRECTION OF THERMAL BUCKLING CRITICAL TEMPERATURE FOR CYLINDRICAL THIN-SHELL

open access: yesJixie qiangdu, 2017
For solving the inconsistence problem among existing theoretical solutions of the critical temperature for cylindrical thin-shell,in this paper, the theoretical solution of critical temperature was firstly deduced for a cylindrical thin-shell subjected to

Failure Behavior of Corrugated Pressure Cylindrical Shells with Variable Wall Thickness under Uniform External Pressure

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
The main load-bearing structure of submarines is the pressure shell. Shell failures are usually caused by high hydrostatic pressure and its own potential geometric imperfections. This paper proposes a cylindrical shell with a strong corrugated stiffening

V2CTx MXene as a Sacrificial Promoter for NiFe Catalyst for Anion Exchange Membrane Electrolyzers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
These findings demonstrate that V2CTx functions beyond passive conductive support as an active electronic participant whose structural legacy sustains durable performance even after vanadium leaching in Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) Electrolysers. ABSTRACT Nickel‐iron layered double hydroxides (NiFe‐LDH) show excellent activity, their poor conductivity

Geometry‐Controlled Assembly of Self‐Standing Nanorods With Undisturbed Plasmonics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reports a geometry‐driven assembly strategy to vertically align Au@Ag core–shell nanorods on PS beads. This well‐defined architecture enables the preservation of the intrinsic optical response of individual nanorods. Thus, demonstrate a highly reproducible SERS enhancement with exceptional uniformity.

Outstanding TC Enhancement in 5d–3d Y2NiIrO6 by Compression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Double perovskite Y2NiIrO6 with half filed 3d eg–5d t2g configuration, exhibits first experimental example of pressure‐enhanced magnetic interaction in iridate and iridate‐related systems. Its Curie temperature increase from 192 to 243 K at 17 GPa. Herein, the orthogonal eg–t2g pathway remains robust even under compression‐induced lattice distortion ...

Beyond Percolation: Graphene‐Enabled Network Reinforcement Enhances Thermal Transport in Paraffin Phase‐Change Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Expanded‐graphite/graphene‐nanoplatelet hybrids deliver a near‐order‐of‐magnitude thermal‐conductivity enhancement in paraffin phase‐change materials. A microCT‐informed 3D modeling framework resolves the percolating EG backbone and captures sub‐voxel GNP enrichment, quantitatively linking microstructure to heat flow and revealing a graphene‐enabled ...
