Suitability of Robotic‐Assisted Surgery for Hepatic Peribiliary Cysts: A Case Report

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 11, November 2025.
Robotic‐assisted subsegmentectomy of liver segment III was successfully performed for a growing hepatic peribiliary cyst that could not be distinguished from a malignant tumor. This approach demonstrates the feasibility and safety of minimally invasive robotic surgery for hepatic peribiliary cysts.

Cystic Intraductal Papillary Neoplasm of the Bile Duct in the Left Lobe of the Liver With Associated Liver Atrophy: A Case Report

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 10, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Cystic IPNB is a rare liver disease with a high risk of malignant transformation (64%–89%) and poses diagnostic challenges. We describe a case of a 74‐year‐old woman with a large bilobar mucinous cyst in the left liver lobe associated with its atrophy managed with left hepatectomy.

Proteomic Profiling of Bacterial Extracellular Vesicles for Exploring Ovarian Cancer Biomarkers

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Biology, Volume 4, Issue 10, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are present in body fluids and act as disease biomarkers. Emerging evidence has proven that EVs are released not only from mammalian cells but also from bacteria. Ovarian cancer has a dismal prognosis because of difficulties in early detection.

Study the Expression of Dickkopf-related Protein 3 Immunoreactivity in Serous Epithelial Ovarian Tumors

open access: yesMedical Journal of Babylon
Background: Dickkopf-related protein 3 (DKK3) is regarded as a tumor suppressor in cancer tissue. DKK3 gene effect has an important role in the prognosis of ovarian cancer with the possibility to discover new line treatment in ovarian cancer.
