AbstractCytoreduction and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) for the therapy of peritoneal carcinomatosis are associated with substantial morbidity and acceptable mortality. Patient selection, learning curve, patient warming, and reduced blood loss are the main factors to decrease morbidity.
