Phosphorescent Platinum(II) Complexes With Diazinedipyrrolide Pincer Ligands: Structure and Photophysical Properties

A new family of phosphorescent Pt(II) complexes with pyrimidinedipyrrolide ligands, including a pyrazine analog, was designed and synthesized. Their emission properties can be finely tuned via ligand modification, revealing strong phosphorescence originating from intraligand charge transfer transitions.
