Experimental and Numerical Investigation of Biocarbon Injection Behavior for Electric Arc Furnace Slag Foaming

steel research international, EarlyView.
Biocarbon injection is investigated as a promising pathway for sustainable electric arc furnace steelmaking using a combined experimental–numerical approach. Results demonstrate that biocarbon can effectively penetrate slag and generate intense foaming within a defined operating window.

Transitioning captive orangutans to a high‐fiber, fruitless diet improved gut microbiome diversity, enhanced gastrointestinal health, and reduced stress‐related behaviors. This study demonstrates the significant benefits of tailored dietary interventions in promoting the health and welfare of zoo‐housed primates.
