Packaging of Macroscopic Material Payloads: Needs, Challenges, Concepts, and Future Directions
This review introduces a unified framework that decomposes any macroscopic packaging system into the payload, packaging material, and packaging strategy and combines them into a conceptual packaging equation: packaging strategy = payload + packaging material.

Low‐cycle fatigue damage in Mn–Mo–Ni reactor pressure vessel steel is examined using a combined electron backscatter diffraction and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy approach. The study correlates texture evolution, dislocation substructure development, and vacancy‐type defect formation across uniform, necked, and fracture regions, providing

Multiple D-loops in Tetrahymena mitochondrial DNA
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Nucleic Acids and Protein Synthesis, 1972Abstract 1. 1. We have examined isolated Tetrahymena mtDNA a linear molecule of 14.9 μm, for the existence of D-loops. Molecules with up to 6 clearly separated D-loops were found. 2. 2. The mean length of the D-loops was 0.21 ± 0.09, essentially the same length as we have found for chick mtDNA. 3. 3.

Demystifying the D-loop during DNA recombination
Nature, 2020Homologous recombination is a mechanism for DNA repair that enables the exchange of genetic information between DNA molecules. Structural analysis reveals how the protein RecA orchestrates this process. Structural data reveal how RecA protein orchestrates recombination.

Mitochondrial DNA D-loop hypervariable regions: Czech population data
International Journal of Legal Medicine, 2004In order to identify polymorphic sites and to find out their frequencies and the frequency of haplotypes, the complete D-loop of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) from 93 unrelated Czech Caucasians was sequenced. Sequence comparison showed that 85 haplotypes were found and of these 78 were unique, 6 were observed twice and 1 was observed three times.

Molecular alterations of mitochondrial D‐loop in oral leukoplakia
Journal of Cellular Biochemistry, 2019AbstractBackgroundOver the years, numerous studies proposed a crucial role of mutations of nuclear DNA in the carcinogenesis process. Of late, many researchers suppose that alterations of mitochondrial DNA should not be excepted from this analysis. Mutational analysis of mitochondrial DNA displayed that mitochondrial D‐loop is assessed as a hotspot for

Heterologous expression from the human D-Loop in organello
Mitochondrion, 2014We report the expression of a linear reporter construct in isolated human mitochondria. The reporter construct contained the entire human D-Loop with adjacent tRNA (MTT) genes (mt.15956-647), the human ND1 gene with an in frame GFP gene and adjacent endogenous MTT genes and heterologous rat MTT genes.
