Galerkin–Vlasov Method for Deflection Analysis of Isotropic Sandwich Plates under Uniform Load [PDF]
In this work, the Galerkin–Vlasov method was used to solve the governing partial differential equation of equilibrium for isotropic sandwich plates with simply supported edges (x = ±a, y = ±b) and under uniform load on the plate domain Vlasov procedure ...

Smeared heat-kernel coefficients on the ball and generalized cone
We consider smeared zeta functions and heat-kernel coefficients on the bounded, generalized cone in arbitrary dimensions. The specific case of a ball is analysed in detail and used to restrict the form of the heat-kernel coefficients $A_n$ on smooth ...

D4.4/D19 Strategy and priorities for delivering information services to end users
The deliverable D19/D4.4 of the GenRes Bridge project presents the overarching strategy on the documentation on Genetic Resource that has been developed to complement the overarching European Strategy on Genetic Resources (D2.4) and the new specific strategies of the three European networks of conservation of genetic resources, ECPGR, ERFP and EUFORGEN.

Forest type influence on Heliconia‐dipteran interaction networks
Responses to forest type depended on the developmental stage of dipterans. Bract traits and forest type influenced larval abundance, but forest type had no impact on adult alpha and beta diversity. Heliconia‐dipteran interaction networks showed a nested pattern for both forest types.

Laparoscopic Embryo Transfer in Swine: An Effective Alternative to Traditional Open Surgery
ABSTRACT While embryo transfer (ET) has not yet been widely adopted in the commercial swine industry, it is an essential tool in biomedical research, including the creation of gene‐edited pigs. Traditionally, ET in pigs is performed by open surgery (laparotomy), an effective but invasive and time‐consuming method associated with risks such as infection

Application of Group‐Theoretical Approaches in Structural Natural Frequency Analyses
ABSTRACT Group theory has profoundly advanced physics and chemistry in systems with symmetries. Yet its use in structural engineering applications has not yet been fully explored beyond the aesthetics of symmetric designs. This work addresses two significant gaps that have limited the broader adoption of group‐theoretic methods in structural vibration ...
