Dicentrine, an Aporphine Alkaloid From Ocotea langsdorffii, Induces Mitochondrial Dysfunction and Oxidative Stress in Leishmania (L.) infantum

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 8, August 2026.
Dicentrine, an aporphine alkaloid, exhibits potent in vitro antileishmanial activity against Leishmania species with high selectivity and low macrophage cytotoxicity. Mechanistic studies reveal that the compound triggers parasite death possibly by inducing mitochondrial membrane disruption and oxidative stress.

Pharmacokinetic Drug–Drug Interactions of Imlunestrant in Healthy Female Participants of Nonchildbearing Potential

open access: yesClinical and Translational Science, Volume 19, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Imlunestrant is a next‐generation, oral, selective estrogen receptor degrader approved for treating adults with estrogen receptor‐positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2‐negative, ESR1‐mutated advanced/metastatic breast cancer. Imlunestrant is metabolized partly by cytochrome P450 (CYP)3A4 oxidation and conjugation with glucuronic ...
