Performance Analysis of Underlaid Full-Duplex D2D Cellular Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
This paper investigates the benefits of incorporating underlaid full-duplex (FD) device-to-device (D2D) communications into cellular networks. Toward this end, we provide an analytical performance characterization of underlaid D2D cellular networks where

Temperature‐Modulated Threshold Response in a Volatile Memristor: Toward a Biomimetic Polymodal Nociceptive System

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 45, 5 June 2026.
This study demonstrates an artificial polymodal nociceptor whose firing threshold is actively modulated by temperature. A volatile TiN/TiOx/ZnO/TiOx/ITO memristor shows interfacial ion–driven resistive switching and membrane‐potential‐like dynamics, enabling temperature‐dependent nociceptive behavior.

Physical layer security of modify-and-forward cooperative D2D networks based on transmit antenna selection

open access: yesDianxin kexue
To further improve the physical layer security (PLS) performance of decode-and-forward (DF) cooperative device-to-device (D2D) network that shared spectrum resources with cellular network, a modify-and-forward (MF) cooperative D2D-cellular PLS model was ...

D2D Assisted Beamforming for Coded Caching

open access: yesCoRR, 2019
Device-to-device (D2D) aided beamforming for coded caching is considered in finite signal-to-noise ratio regime. A novel beamforming scheme is proposed where the local cache content exchange among nearby users is exploited. The transmission is split into two phases: local D2D content exchange and downlink transmission.

Molecularly Bridged Heterointerface Engineering: Designing Transparent, Wear‐Resistant, Hard yet Flexible Optoelectronic Protective Film

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 31, 4 June 2026.
A molecular‐bridging heterogeneous interface engineering strategy is introduced to combine a polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS)‐based hard coating with a colorless polyimide (CPI)‐based flexible layer. The robust heterogeneous interface endows the integrated system with the superior properties of both layers and their synergistic ...

Power Allocation for Maximizing Uplink Rate Over Full-Duplex Relay-Based D2D Communication Underlying Cellular Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
Device-to-device (D2D) communications, which can increase system throughput, allow two cellular devices to communicate directly with each other. Compared with half-duplex relay, full-duplex relay can significantly improve the spectrum efficiency if the ...
