Contrast Mechanisms for the Detection of Ferroelectric Domains with Scanning Force Microscopy
We present a full analysis of the contrast mechanisms for the detection of ferroelectric domains on all faces of bulk single crystals using scanning force microscopy exemplified on hexagonally poled lithium niobate.

Er‐doping and the photocatalytic memory effect through visible‐light irradiation synergistically reconstruct internal electronic states of ultrathin Er‐doped BiOCl nanosheets and generate stable oxygen vacancies. Light absorption, charge carrier separation, and CO2 adsorption capability are subsequently enhanced, leading to a significant increase in ...

Driven anisotropic diffusion at boundaries: noise rectification and particle sorting
We study the diffusive dynamics of a Brownian particle in proximity of a flat surface under non-equilibrium conditions, which are created by an anisotropic thermal environment with different temperatures being active along distinct spatial directions. By

Enhancing the Ferroelectricity of MAPbI3 via Hydroxyl Groups to Boost Photocatalytic Performance
The hydroxyl groups in (EOA)2PbBr4 enable a rearrangement of the polar MA+ ions in MAPbI3, which enhances the Ps‐electric field and promotes the separation of photogenerated carriers. Consequently, the (EOA)2PbBr4/MAPbI3 composite exhibits the enhanced CO production yield in photocatalytic CO2 reduction reactions.

An Explicit SU(12) Family and Flavor Unification Model
An explicit SUSY SU(12) unification model with three light chiral families is presented which avoids any external flavor symmetries. The hierarchy of quark and lepton masses and mixings is explained by higher dimensional Yukawa interactions involving ...
