Aluminium salts have been the adjuvant of choice in more than 100 licensed vaccines. Here, we have studied the synergistic effect of aluminium hydroxide nanoparticles (AH np) and non-ionic surfactant-based vesicles (NISV) in modulating the immune ...

Brane Realizations of Quantum Hall Solitons and Kac-Moody Lie Algebras [PDF]
Using quiver gauge theories in (1+2)-dimensions, we give brane realizations of a class of Quantum Hall Solitons (QHS) embedded in Type IIA superstring on the ALE spaces with exotic singularities.

mu-tau Symmetry and Charged Lepton Mass Hierarchy in a Supersymmetric D4 Model
In this note we discuss a supersymmetric (SUSY) D4 x Z5 model which leads to vanishing reactor mixing angle theta_13=0 and maximal atmospheric mixing theta_23=pi/4 in the lepton sector at leading order (LO), due to the preservation of non-trivial ...

Light Switchable Ionic Conductivity of Arylazopyrazole Modified Polysiloxanes
We present a polysiloxane functionalized with a novel arylazopyrazole dye that undergoes reversible photoisomerization. Upon lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide addition and UV irradiation, the polymer exhibits a shift in tan(d) toward higher frequencies and enhanced ionic conductivity.

Born-Infeld Actions from Matrix Theory [PDF]
We propose a formula for the effective action of Matrix Theory which succesfully reproduces a large class of Born-Infeld type D-brane probe actions. The formula is motivated by demanding consistency with known results, and is tested by comparing with a ...

Teleparallel loop quantum cosmology in a system of intersecting branes
Recently, some authors have removed the big bang singularity in teleparallel Loop Quantum Cosmology (LQC) and have shown that the universe may undergo a number of oscillations.

Conditioned place preference and locomotor activity in response to methylphenidate, amphetamine and cocaine in mice lacking dopamine D4 receptors [PDF]
Methylphenidate (MP) and amphetamine (AMPH) are the most frequently prescribed medications for the treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Flexible Chitosan‐glycerol sensor integrated with porous laser‐induced graphene (LIG) electrodes enable room‐temperature chemiresistive detection of ammonia (NH3) and proof‐of‐concept detection of fish spoilage. ABSTRACT We report a metal‐free sensor platform combining laser induced graphene (LIG) electrodes with drop‐deposited, glycerol‐plasticized ...

Worldvolume Superalgebra Of BLG Theory With Nambu-Poisson Structure
Recently it was proposed that the Bagger-Lambert-Gustavsson theory with Nambu-Poisson structure describes an M5-brane in a three-form flux background. In this paper we investigate the superalgebra associated with this theory.
