Adsorption and Desorption of Praseodymium (III) from Aqueous Solution Using D72 Resin
Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering, 2012Abstract In this work, the feasibility of using a macroporous strong acid ion exchange resin (D72) as an adsorbent for praseodymium (III) was examined. The adsorption behavior and mechanism were investigated with various chemical methods and IR spectrometry.

The synthesis of a perdeuterated phospholipid: 1,2-dimyristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine-d72
Chemistry and Physics of Lipids, 1979The synthesis of a perdeuterated phospholipid — 1,2-dimyristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine-d72 (DMPC-d72) — is described. Ordinary (protonated) DMPC was prepared by the same synthetic route and its properties were found to be the same as those of commercial DMPC.

We investigated the role of electrostatic charges at positions D72 and K8 in the function and structural stability of cytochrome c6 from Nostoc sp. PCC 7119 (cyt c6). A series of mutant forms was generated to span the possible combinations of charge neutralization (by mutation to alanine) and charge inversion (by mutation to lysine and aspartate ...
