An algorithm for the calculation of transmission zeros of the system (C, A, B, D) using high gain output feedback

IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1978
A new algorithm, which is an extension of [1, algorithm II], is presented to determine the transmission zeros of the system \dot{x}=Ax+Bu, y=Cx+Du denoted by (C,A,B,D) . The algorithm is based on the observation that for nondegenerate (C,A,B,D) systems, the set of transmission zeros of (C,A,B,D) are contained in the finite eigenvalues of the closed ...

Transmission electron microscope study of the domain structures associated with the b-, c-, d-, e- and f-reflections in plagioclase feldspars

Contributions to Mineralogy and Petrology, 1974
Ten specimens of plagioclase feldspars (An100 to An25) have been examined by transmission electron microscopy using dark field and direct lattice imaging. The specimens are classified into two groups: (i) those that have been quenched from the melt (synthetic An100, An95, An66 and An50) and (ii) those that have been cooled relatively slowly (An94, An77,

Comparison of HIV-1 Mother-to-Child Transmission After Single-Dose Nevirapine Prophylaxis Among African Women With Subtypes A, C, and D

JAIDS Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes, 2006
The HIVNET 012 trial in Uganda showed that mother-to-child transmission (MTCT) of HIV-1 can be prevented by providing pregnant women and their infants with a single dose (SD) of the antiretroviral drug nevirapine (NVP). Safety and efficacy of 1- or 2-dose NVP prophylaxis for prevention of MTCT have been documented in other studies.

Investigations on potential conductors for a D. C. superconducting power transmission line in a 20 meter test bed

IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1975
The cryogenic and electrical aspects of a program to evaluate superconductors for a dc superconducting power transmission line are presented. Results for conductors in lengths of 20 meters operated at currents up to 10 kA are described. A battery driven power supply which is capable of delivering and controlling currents upto 50 kA is discussed ...

Feeding behavior of Diaphorina citri and its transmission of ‘Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus’ to citrus

Entomologia Experimentalis et Applicata, 2016
AbstractHuanglongbing (HLB), also known as citrus greening, is currently the most destructive disease of citrus, responsible for huge economic losses in the world's major citrus production areas. The Asian citrus psyllid, Diaphorina citri Kuwayama (Hemiptera: Liviidae), transmits ‘Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus’ (Clas), the pathogen responsible to ...

Configuration-dependent conformational transmission in trigonal-bipyramidal phosphorus(V) compounds. Enhanced gauche (-) population around the C(5)-C(6) linkage in 6-phosphorus(V) phosphorylated tetramethyl-a-D-galactopyranoside

Recueil des Travaux Chimiques des Pays-Bas, 1986
A 300-MHz 1H NMR variable-temperature study of the 1'-phosphorylated trigonal-bipyramidal (TBP) tetrahydropyran-2-methyl model compound 4 is reported. For this compound, in which both the equatorial and axial sites undergoing phosphorus pseudorotation bear a tetrahydro-pyran-2-methyl group, a precise conformational analysis of the C(1')-C(2) bond is ...

Downregulation of Centaurin gamma1A increases synaptic transmission at Drosophila larval neuromuscular junctions

European Journal of Neuroscience, 2014
AbstractAdequate regulation of synaptic transmission is critical for appropriate neural circuit functioning. Although a number of molecules involved in synaptic neurotransmission have been identified, the molecular mechanisms regulating neurotransmission are not fully understood.

ChemInform Abstract: Configuration‐Dependent Conformational Transmission in Trigonal‐Bipyramidal P(V) Compounds. Enhanced Gauche (‐) Population Around the C(5)‐C(6) Linkage in 6‐P(V) Phosphorylated Tetramethyl‐α‐D‐galactopyranoside.

Chemischer Informationsdienst, 1986
AbstractIn order to obtain evidence for the conformational change around C(l′)‐C(2) on changing the coordination of phosphorus from four to five, the conformation of the trigonal‐bipyramidal (TBP) model compound (I), in which both the equatorial and axial sites undergoing phosphorus pseudorotation bear a tetrahydropyran‐2‐methyl group, is analyzed ...

The frequencies of Hepatitis B, C, D virus infection in the pregnant population and the rate of perinatal transmission of Hepatitis C virus

2015
Giriş ve amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, gebe popülasyonunda hepatit B, C ve D virus infeksiyon sıklığının, anti-HCV seropozitif annelerin bebeklerinde ise HCV-RNA pozitifliğinin araştırılmasıdır. Gereç ve yöntem: Çalışma kapsamına, antenatal takip amacıyla başvuran 460 gebe kadın alındı. Gebelerin tümünde HBsAg ve anti-HCV bakıldı.
