B4GALNT4‐Mediated Glycosylation of PDK1 Activates the PI3K‐AKT Signaling Pathway to Promote Prostate Cancer Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies B4GALNT4 as a key driver of prostate cancer (PCa). It shows that B4GALNT4 glycosylates PDK1 protein at the N531 site, which stabilizes the PDK1 and constitutively activates the PI3K‐AKT pathway. This mechanism promotes tumor cell proliferation, migration, and invasion. The findings establish the B4GALNT4‐PDK1 glycosylation axis as

APOE‐stratified Proteomic and Metabolomic Analysis Reveals Mitochondrial Dysfunction Inflammation and Lipid Dysregulation in Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A large‐scale multiomic dataset (proteomic and metabolomic) comprising 3,060 plasma samples were analyzed to identify proteins, metabolites, pathways, and protein‐associated drugs linked to Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) independently of apolipoprotein E (APOE). AD was associated with a distinct molecular signature that captures.

A Virtual Inertia-Based Power Feedforward Control Strategy for an Energy Router in a Direct Current Microgrid Application

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
Due to the uncertainty of the power load and the randomness of distributed generations, low-voltage direct current (LVDC) bus voltage fluctuation will greatly affect the safety of an energy router-enabled direct current (DC) microgrid.

TEAD1 Enhances Exosome Secretion and Promotes Exosome‐Mediated Tissue Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TEAD1 functions as a crucial molecular switch regulating exosome secretion in various cell types. TEAD1 enhances exosome secretion by upregulating key proteins associated with exosome secretion, including RAB11, CD9, and SNAP23. This study reveals a novel role for TEAD1 in regulating exosome secretion and tissue regeneration, particularly in diabetic ...

Engineered GM1 Intersects Between Mitochondrial and Synaptic Pathways to Ameliorate ALS Pathology

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal neurodegenerative disease driven by genetic and molecular disruptions affecting energy balance, protein homeostasis, and stress responses in nerve cells. Studies using human and rodent models identified convergent defects in mitochondria and synaptic function.

Sensorless Open-Circuit-Fault Diagnosis Method for NPC-Based DAB Converter [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Power Electronics
Open-circuit fault (OCF) on power switches can cause a severe threat to operation and safety of power electronic converters. In the neutral-point-clamped (NPC)-based dual-active-bridge (DAB) converters, the OCFs will result in an increase in the current stress, DC bias, and capacitor voltage imbalance.
