Structural and Reservoir Characteristics of Potential Carbon Dioxide Storage Sites in the Northern South Yellow Sea Basin, Offshore Eastern China

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
The geological storage of carbon dioxide (CO2) in offshore saline aquifers stands as a primary option for reducing CO2 emissions in coastal regions. China’s coastal regions, particularly Shandong and Jiangsu provinces, face significant challenges in CO2 ...

A Facile Method for Loading CeO2 Nanoparticles on Anodic TiO2 Nanotube Arrays. [PDF]

open access: yesNanoscale Res Lett, 2018
In this paper, a facile method was proposed to load CeO2 nanoparticles (NPs) on anodic TiO2 nanotube (NT) arrays, which leads to a formation of CeO2/TiO2 heterojunctions.

Terahertz Spin Current Pulses in Antiferromagnetic Oxide: The Role of Vacancy‐Induced Ferromagnetism

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 4, Issue 10, October 2023., 2023
Herein, the vacancy‐induced ferromagnetism in antiferromagnetic oxide NiO films is introduced by manipulating the deposition conditions of NiO films. The resulting modification leads to an enhancement in terahertz emission, which is closely linked to the ultrafast spin current within the NiO films.

Genetic Mechanism of Lower‐Order Faults in Shale Formations in Rift Basins

open access: yesGeofluids, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
The distribution of lower‐order faults affects the development of oil and gas and the distribution of remaining oil, which is also the key to the development of fault block reservoirs in eastern China. The lower‐order faults are characterized by short extension, small fault displacement, and difficult identification by traditional seismic ...

Giant Extrinsic Spin Hall Effect in Platinum‐Titanium Oxide Nanocomposite Films

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 9, Issue 16, June 3, 2022., 2022
Pt1−x(TiO2)x nanocomposites, that combines a giant spin Hall effect with a low resistivity are developed and synthesized. The dramatic enhancement of the spin Hall angle origins from side‐jumping induced by the TiO2 impurities. This material is process‐compatible with semiconductors, which makes it ideal for advancing spin–current‐based logic, memory ...

Nkx2-5 defines a subpopulation of pacemaker cells and is essential for the physiological function of the sinoatrial node in mice.

open access: yesDevelopment, 2019
The sinoatrial node (SAN), the primary cardiac pacemaker, consists of a head domain and a junction/tail domain that exhibit different functional properties. However, the underlying molecular mechanism defining these two pacemaker domains remains elusive.

Effect of pore structure on oil‐bearing property in the third member of Paleogene Funing Formation in Subei Basin, East China

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, Volume 8, Issue 6, Page 2187-2202, June 2020., 2020
In this paper, the size and distribution of entire pore‐throat structures in the sandstones of the third member of Paleogene Funing Formation in the Subei Basin are described according to mercury injection capillary pressure (MICP) tests, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), (fluorescence) thin section, X‐ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron ...

Early T‐Cell Precursor Leukemia Has a Higher Risk of Induction‐Related Infection among T‐Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in Adult

open access: yesMediators of Inflammation, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
Background. Infections are an important cause of morbidity and mortality for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). However, the reports regarding risk factors of induction‐related infection are roughly unknown/limited in adult T‐ALL during induction chemotherapy. Methods. We performed a retrospective cohort study for the prevalence and risk predictors of
