Neoflavonoids from Dalbergia odorifera
Phytochemistry, 1997Abstract Two new neoflavonoids, 3′-hydroxymelanettin and 3′-hydroxy-2,4,5-trimethoxydalbergiquinol, were isolated from the heartwood of Dalbergia odorifera, together with the known compounds, dalbergin, melanettin, stevenin, 4-methoxydalbergione, and cearoin. The structures of the new compounds were established by spectral methods, especially 2D NMR.

Pharmacokinetics and molecular docking of the cardioprotective flavonoids in Dalbergia odorifera
Journal of Separation Science, 2023The purpose of this research was to investigate the cardioprotective effects and pharmacokinetics of Dalbergia odorifera flavonoids. The cardioprotective effects were detected by hematoxylin‐eosin staining histopathological observations and the detection of myocardial enzymes by kits in serum, peroxidation and antioxidant levels and ATPase activities ...

Five new sesquiterpenoids from Dalbergia odorifera
Fitoterapia, 2014Five new sesquiterpenes (1-5) along with ten known ones were isolated from the heartwood of Dalbergia odorifrea T. Chen. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic techniques including MS, UV, IR, 1D and 2D NMR. Bioassay results showed that compounds 1 and 9 had inhibitory effect on Candida albicans, and compound 9 exhibited inhibitory effects ...

Cryopreservation study on seeds and embryos in Dalbergia odorifera
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica, 2014The mature seeds and excised embryos of Dalbergia odorifera were used as materials to study the effect of moisture content on their survival, as well as the effect of rapid freezing and vitrification freezing method on seeds and in vitro embryos cryopreservation. The results showed that the germination rate and vigor decreased from 82.67%, 85% to 18.35%

Antioxidant properties of butein isolated from Dalbergia odorifera
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Lipids and Lipid Metabolism, 1998The antioxidant properties of butein, isolated from Dalbergia odorifera T. Chen, were investigated in this study. Butein inhibited iron-induced lipid peroxidation in rat brain homogenate in a concentration-dependent manner with an IC50, 3.3+/-0.4 microM. It was as potent as alpha-tocopherol in reducing the stable free radical diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (
