Damping-off Resistance in Chickpeas [PDF]
Association of resistance to preemergence damping-off caused by Pythium ultimum and gene P for flower and seed coat color was studied in two crosses of chickpeas (Cicer arietinum), kabuli line C 104, and desi lines T3(GW) and P 436-2 made at ICRISAT, Patancheru, India. Evaluations were performed under greenhouse conditions.

Field performance of bio-primed seeds to suppress Colletotrichum truncatum causing damping-off and seedling stand of soybean. [PDF]
The soybean is prone to be attacked by Colletotrichum truncatum at seed and seedling stages, resulting in pre- and post-emergence damping-off. The efficacy of bio-priming for the control of damping-off of soybean caused by C.

SHADE‐INDUCED DAMPING‐OFF IN CONIFER SEEDLINGS [PDF]
SUMMARYSeedlings of Pinus sylvestris and Picea sitchensis were grown aseptically in sand culture for 30 days under a range of light intensities. Relative growth rates (whole seedlings and shoots) of Pinus sylvestris were greater than those of Picea sitchensis and significantly so at low light intensities, but their carbohydrate status was lower.

Progeny performance and pathogen attack relative to elevation in a neotropical tree [PDF]
Climate and resource availability at the parent tree location are known to explain progeny characteristics; however, few studies have examined the role of resistance or tolerance to pathogens, even though climate is a main driver of pathogen abundance ...

Response of Arabidopsis Clones to Toxic Compounds Released by Various Rhizoctonia Species [PDF]
Response of 3 Arabidopsis clones to 41 strains of eight Rhizoctonia species was studied in model experiments. The seed germination was decelerated in most of the cases, although the inhibitory effect varied within large limits.
