Room‐Temperature Skyrmionic Synapse in 2D Ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2 Operating via Collective Spin Texture Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

Backing boards and glazing on paintings: Their damping capacity in relation to shock impact and vibration

open access: yes, 2011
The use of backing boards and glazing as a protective measure is well established in preventive conservation of delicate canvas paintings. A wide range of materials is currently being applied. However, there has been little knowledge on the effectiveness

Stable Protein‐Based G‐Quadruplex‐Derived Supramolecular Bioinks as Tunable ECM‐Mimetic Constructs Assembled by Combining Non‐Covalent and Covalent Strategies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Harnessing the synergistic interplay of supramolecular self‐assembly, under macromolecular crowding conditions, and enzymatic‐mediated covalent crosslinking toward a stable protein‐based G‐quadruplex‐derived supramolecular bioink. This bioinspired strategy enables the biofabrication of complex and tunable ECM‐mimetic constructs, providing a platform ...

The Effect of Carbon on the Loss of Room-temperature Damping Capacity in Copper-manganese Alloys

open access: yes, 1997
A high damping Cu-Mn alloy with a nominal composition of 48Cu-48Mn-1.5Al-0.27Si-0.072Sn-0.028C-0.05Er (all compositions in wt pct) was studied to determine the mechanism of the loss of damping capacity during room-temperature storage.

All‐Optical Reconfigurable Physical Unclonable Function for Sustainable Security

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐optical reconfigurable physical unclonable function (PUF) is demonstrated using plasmonic coupling–induced sintering of optically trapped gold nanoparticles, where Brownian motion serves as a robust entropy source. The resulting optical PUF exhibits high encoding density, strong resistance to modeling attacks, and practical authentication ...

Effect of Alloy Elements on Stacking Fault Probability and Damping Capacity of Fe-Mn Alloy

open access: yes工程科学与技术, 2007
:The stacking fault probability and damping capacity of Fe-19Mn,Fe-17Mn-2Cr and Fe-19Mn-1.5Si alloys were studied. The damping capacity was measured using reversal torsion pendulum.

Investigation of damping capacity of shape memory alloys

open access: yes, 2012
This study focuses on the investigation of the influencing factors of damping capacity in NiTi shape memory alloy. An extensive study of the effects of frequency, strain amplitude, vibration amplitudes and the damping capacity was done on (a) R-phase ...
