Remarkable improvement in damping capacity of M2052 alloy by step-cooling treatment
In order to efficiently produce high-damping Mn–Cu based alloys, different heat treatment processes were designed in this study, and the influence of the cooling process on the damping property of M2052 alloy was systematically investigated.

Superelastic behavior and damping capacity of CuAlBe alloys
Abstract Shape memory alloys (SMAs) showing the superelastic effect, dissipate energy through hysteretic cycles up to large strain amplitudes, without remnant strains after unloading. This effect is associated with a reversible stress-induced martensitic transformation.

This study uncovers the unexplored role of intermolecular interactions in multiphoton absorption in coordination polymers. By analyzing [Zn2tpda(DMA)2(DMF)0.3], it shows how the electronic coupling of the chromophores and confinement in the MOF enhance two‐and three‐photon absorption.

Damping behavior of Al/SiC functionally graded and metal matrix composites
Al/SiC functionally graded and metal-matrix composites were investigated through dynamic mechanical analyzer as a function of vibrating frequencies. It was found that internal frictions were strongly dependent on material type and vibrating frequency ...

Modulating Electrochemical CO2 Reduction Pathways via Interfacial Electric Field
Engineering interfacial electric fields in Cu/ITO electrodes enables precise control of CO2 reduction pathways. Charge transfer from Cu to ITO generates positively charged Cu species that steer selectivity from ethylene toward methane. This work demonstrates how interfacial electric‐field modulation can direct reaction intermediates and transform ...

Guided by the golden ratio, a class of aperiodic architected metamaterials is introduced to address the intrinsic trade‐off between strength and toughness. By unifying local geometric heterogeneity with global order, the golden‐ratio‐guided aperiodic architecture promotes spatial delocalization of damage tolerence regions, leading to more tortuous ...

A bimetallic Mn–Ca nanoreactor (MCC) is developed as a non‐nucleotide STING nanoagonist for cancer metalloimmunotherapy. MCC induces Ca2+ overload and hydroxyl radical generation, resulting in mitochondrial damage and mtDNA release. The released mtDNA cooperates with Mn2+ to robustly activate cGAS–STING signaling.
