Physiology of Damped-off Tomato Seedlings
Madras Agricultural Journal, 1974Tomato hypocotyls infected with P. aphanidermatum contained fructose, sucrose and glucose while the healthy hypocotyls contained only sucrose and glucose. Tartaric acid was detected only in the infected hypocotyls. Similarly glutamic acid, leucine, meth- ionine and tryptophan were detected only in infected tissues, While phenolics content increased ...

Off-Vehicle Evaluation of Active Oscillation Damping Schemes
IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics, 2013Torsional drivetrain oscillations are a well-known problem in electrical or hybrid electric drivetrains and may greatly influence the driving comfort. An experimental testing setup that can be used to design and evaluate active oscillation damping schemes is proposed in this paper.

Influence of pH on the incidence of damping-off
Transactions of the British Mycological Society, 1958Using Beta vulgaris, Brassica campestris, Picea sitchensis and Pinus contorta as hosts, Pythium ultimum as parasite, and a wide range of soil reactions, it is shown that change in incidence of damping-off with chnge in soil pH is strongly negatively correlated with change in growth rate of the host.
