Radiative energy loss in the absorptive QGP: taming the long formation lengths in coherent emission [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In an absorptive plasma, damping of radiation mechanisms can influence the bremsstrahlung formation in case of large radiation formation lengths. We study qualitatively the influence of this effect on the gluon bremsstrahlung spectrum off heavy quarks in

Biomimetic Nanovaccine Integrating Dendritic Cell Exosomes with Tumor Cell Membranes for Sustained Prophylaxis Against Glioblastoma

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We have developed DEX/GM, an all‐natural, personalizable hybrid vaccine designed by coating dendritic cell‐derived exosomes (DEX) onto tumor cell membranes (GM) for sustained prophylaxis against glioblastoma (GBM). ABSTRACT Glioblastoma (GBM), one of the most aggressive and lethal brain tumors, remains incurable with a poor clinical prognosis.

Controlling soybean root rot pathogens using some safe organic compounds [PDF]

open access: yesCaspian Journal of Environmental Sciences
Laboratory and greenhouse experiments were carried out during the summer season of 2023 to study the effect of some safe organic compounds i.e. humic acid (HA), amino acids (AA) and proline for controlling damping-off and root rot diseases compared to ...

Damping-off of Indian Lettuce Caused by Rhizoctonia solani AG-4

open access: yes한국균학회지, 2020
Damping-off symptoms were frequently observed on young plants of Indian lettuce (Lactuca indica) grown in a farmer's vinyl greenhouse located in Goseong, Gangwon province of Korea during a disease survey in June 2019.

2D Magnetic and Topological Quantum Materials and Devices for Ultralow Power Spintronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
2D magnets and topological quantum materials enable ultralow‐power spintronics by combining robust magnetic order with symmetry‐protected, Berry‐curvature‐driven transport. Fundamentals of 2D anisotropy and spin‐orbit‐coupling induced band inversion are linked to scalable growth and vdW stacking.

Halide‐Dependent Photoluminescence and Heavy‐Atom Effects in Low‐Melting Organic–Inorganic Manganese Halides

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Two pyridinium‐based ionic liquid templated hybrid manganese halides, (C4Py)2[MnCl4] and (C4Py)2[MnBr4], display similar bulk structures but show significantly different photoluminescence behaviors due to the bromine heavy‐atom effect. Their stable local Mn environments remain intact even in the molten state, allowing applications such as luminescence ...

Nonequilibrium Electron Interactions in Metal Films

open access: yes, 2007
Ultrafast relaxation dynamics of an athermal electron distribution is investigated in silver films using a femtosecond pump-probe technique with 18 fs pulses in off-resonant conditions. The results yield evidence for an increase with time of the electron-

Observation of Two‐Photon Resonant Raman Scattering via the Biexciton Level in Two‐Dimensional Halide Perovskite (C6H5C2H4NH3)2PbI4

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Efficient two‐photon resonant Raman scattering (TRRS) is observed in the layered perovskite (PEA)2PbI4, with the biexciton level acting as an intermediate state. TRRS undergoes two‐photon frequency shift upon input frequency tuning, persists up to 90 K, and shows clear threshold behavior and polarization selection rules.

Field Based Assessment of Capsicum annuum Performance with Inoculation of Rhizobacterial Consortia

open access: yesMicroorganisms, 2019
Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) are associated with plant roots and augment plant productivity and immunity by reducing fertilizer application rates and nutrient runoff.
