Tin hexathiophosphate memristors leverage intrinsic nanopores together with a guided filament formation strategy to regulate titanium ion motion and switching behavior. The devices support reliable nonvolatile memory and reconfigurable logic‐in‐memory, demonstrating 14 Boolean logic functions in a single cell.

Dissipation mechanisms identification of soft hollow particle-dampers in honeycomb structures for micro-vibrations environment [PDF]
Particle dampers are enclosures partially filled with metallic or glass small spheres, attached to the vibrating structure. This paper deals with replacing hard classical particles by soft hollow ones to maximize damping and mass ratio. Hence, one aspect

ACC forms via aggregating prenucleation clusters that gatekeep its chemical composition. Ion identity steers the path: Ba and Sr substitute Ca in clusters, thereby inhibiting nucleation, with a dose‐dependent switch of Sr to induction. Mg partitions into Mg‐rich and Mg‐poor clusters; the latter form ACC, expelling Mg.

Measurement of damping of graphite expoxy materials [PDF]
During this period damping measurements were made on the cylindrical graphite epoxy specimen using the forced-vibration test method. The specimen was carefully mounted directly on the shaker through the supporting ring and the impedance head.

Cuttlebone‐inspired metamaterials exploit a septum‐wall architecture to achieve excellent mechanical and functional properties. This review classifies existing designs into direct biomimetic, honeycomb‐type, and strut‐type architectures, summarizes governing design principles, and presents a decoupled design framework for interpreting multiphysical ...

Analysis on Rolling Damping of a Conventional Boat fitted with T-shaped Bilge Keels
This work presents a numerical study on the effect of T-shaped bilge keels on the roll damping of a conventional boat. A scaled boat model with the same dimensions as that of Irkal et al.

Experimental Observation of Electron-Acoustic Wave Propagation in Laboratory Plasma
In the field of fundamental plasma waves, direct observation of electron-acoustic wave (EAW) propagation in laboratory plasmas remains a challenging problem, mainly because of heavy damping. In the MaPLE device, the wave is observed and seen to propagate

Adaptive Hydrogels With Spatiotemporal Stiffening Using pH‐Modulating Enzymes
The chemomechanical coupling in an adaptive hydrogel is studied to further the development of adaptive hydrogels. This coupling is achieved by embedding a pH‐modulating enzyme in a pH‐responsive hydrogel. The enzymatic reaction can be triggered locally, which generates a pH‐decreasing wave throughout the system, increasing the crosslinking density and ...

Perfect absorption of water waves by linear or nonlinear critical coupling
We report on experiments of perfect absorption for surface gravity waves impinging a wall structured by a subwavelength resonator. By tuning the geometry of the resonator, a balance is achieved between the radiation damping and the intrinsic viscous ...

Two pyridinium‐based ionic liquid templated hybrid manganese halides, (C4Py)2[MnCl4] and (C4Py)2[MnBr4], display similar bulk structures but show significantly different photoluminescence behaviors due to the bromine heavy‐atom effect. Their stable local Mn environments remain intact even in the molten state, allowing applications such as luminescence ...
