This chapter discusses Primitive Expression—a form of dance therapy— and its effectiveness as a therapeutic tool. It combines physical, neuropsychological, and social aspects, and involves ethologically and socially-based forms which are offered for re-enactment, as well as an incentive for successful performance and a challenge to ‘transcend’.
