Light Dark Matter from Forbidden Channels
Dark matter (DM) may be a thermal relic that annihilates into heavier states in the early universe. This forbidden DM framework accommodates a wide range of DM masses from keV to weak scales. An exponential hierarchy between the DM mass and the weak scale follows from the exponential suppression of the thermally averaged cross section.

Dark state with counter-rotating dissipative channels
AbstractDark state as a consequence of interference between different quantum states has great importance in the fields of chip-scale atomic clock and quantum information. For the Λ-type three-level system, this dark state is generally regarded as being dissipation-free because it is a superposition of two lowest states without dipole transition ...

Radiation Tolerance of Fully-Depleted P-Channel CCDs Designed for the SNAP Satellite [PDF]
Thick, fully depleted p-channel charge-coupled devices (CCDs) have been developed at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). These CCDs have several advantages over conventional thin, n-channel CCDs, including enhanced quantum efficiency and ...

We present a novel mechanism for Sommerfeld enhancement for dark matter interactions without the need for light mediators. Considering a model for two-component dark matter with a triple coupling, we find that one of dark matter particles leads to an u ...

Constraints to Dark Matter from Inert Higgs Doublet Model [PDF]
We study the Inert Higgs Doublet Model and its inert scalar Higgs $H$ as the only source for dark matter. It is found that three mass regions of the inert scalar Higgs can give the correct dark matter relic density.

AMFNet: An Adversarial Network for Median Filtering Detection
Median filtering is one of the most common operations for image smoothing and retouching, and it is often used as a post-processing by forgers to alleviate the traces of image tampering.

Monojet searches for momentum-dependent dark matter interactions [PDF]
We consider minimal dark matter scenarios featuring momentum-dependent couplings of the dark sector to the Standard Model. We derive constraints from existing LHC searches in the monojet channel, estimate the future LHC sensitivity for an integrated ...

Blind Image Deblurring Based on Local Edges Selection
The edges of images are less sparse when images become blurred. Selecting effective image edges is a vital step in image deblurring, which can help us to build image deblurring models more accurately.

Strong CMB Constraint On P-Wave Annihilating Dark Matter [PDF]
We consider a dark sector consisting of dark matter that is a Dirac fermion and a scalar mediator. This model has been extensively studied in the past. If the scalar couples to the dark matter in a parity conserving manner then dark matter annihilation ...

Resonant s-channel dark matter annihilation at NLO
Abstract Studies of dark matter annihilation through an s-channel resonance are often based on recipes such as a narrow width approximation or real intermediate state subtraction. We review a recipe-free formalism that can be implemented at the NLO level in the full theory, and ensures the cancellation of mass singularities.
