Dynamical system analysis of a three fluid cosmological model: an invariant manifold approach

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2019
The present paper considers a three-fluid cosmological model consisting of noninteracting dark matter, dark energy and baryonic matter in the background of the Friedman–Robertson–Walker–Lemaître flat spacetime.

DARKON FLUID — A MODEL FOR THE DARK SECTOR OF THE UNIVERSE? [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Geometric Methods in Modern Physics, 2012
We introduce darkons as fluid particles of a Galilean massless self-gravitating fluid. This fluid exhibits anisotropic scaling with [Formula: see text]. The minimal gravitational coupling dynamically generates a gravitational mass density of either sign. Hence such fluid may serve as a model for the dark sector of the Universe.

Machine learning for identifying liver and pancreas cancers through comprehensive serum glycopeptide spectra analysis: a case‐control study

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study presents a novel AI‐based diagnostic approach—comprehensive serum glycopeptide spectra analysis (CSGSA)—that integrates tumor markers and enriched glycopeptides from serum. Using a neural network model, this method accurately distinguishes liver and pancreatic cancers from healthy individuals.

Dark Matter from freeze-in and its inhomogeneities

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
We consider generic freeze-in processes for generation of Dark Matter, together with the consequent re-thermalization of the Standard Model fluid. We find that Dark Matter inherits the Standard Model adiabatic inhomogeneities on the cosmological scales ...

Inhomogeneous viscous dark fluid coupled with dark matter in the FRW universe [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A cosmological model with an inhomogeneous viscous dark fluid coupled with dark matter in a flat Friedman-Robertson-Walker universe is investigated. The influence of dark matter on the behavior of an inhomogeneous viscous fluid of this kind, responsible ...

Bridging the gap: Multi‐stakeholder perspectives of molecular diagnostics in oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Although molecular diagnostics is transforming cancer care, implementing novel technologies remains challenging. This study identifies unmet needs and technology requirements through a two‐step stakeholder involvement. Liquid biopsies for monitoring applications and predictive biomarker testing emerge as key unmet needs. Technology requirements vary by

Expansionfree Fluid Evolution and Skripkin Model in f(R) Theory

open access: yes, 2011
We consider the modified $f(R)$ theory of gravity whose higher order curvature terms are interpreted as a gravitational fluid or dark source. The gravitational collapse of a spherically symmetric star, made up of locally anisotropic viscous fluid, is ...

Invariant Solutions and Nonlinear Self-Adjointness of the Two-Component Chaplygin Gas Equation

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2019
In this paper, the Lie group method is performed on a special dark fluid, the Chaplygin gas, which describes both dark matter and dark energy in the present universe.

Exotic Compact Objects with Two Dark Matter Fluids

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 2023
The generic properties of compact objects made of two different fluids of dark matter are studied in a scale-invariant approach. We investigate compact objects with a core–shell structure, where the two fluids are separated, and with mixed dark matter ...

Investigating the cell of origin and novel molecular targets in Merkel cell carcinoma: a historic misnomer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study indicates that Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) does not originate from Merkel cells, and identifies gene, protein & cellular expression of immune‐linked and neuroendocrine markers in primary and metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) tumor samples, linked to Merkel cell polyomavirus (MCPyV) status, with enrichment of B‐cell and other immune cell
